Henry Overton Wills founded WILLS in 1786 at Bristol (UK). The initials "W.D. & H.O." stand for his sons William Day and Henry Overton (like his father). The first produced cigarette was BRISTOL in 1871. In 1905 it was one of the founding members of IMPERIAL TOBACCO COMPANY. In 1909 it opens a branch at Australia. Today WILLS belongs at United Kingdom to IMPERIAL TOBACCO, everywhere else to BRITISH AMERICAN TOBACCO.
